Outlook will not launch

I have Office 2003 installed. All office products work fine except Outlook. Via RDP Outlook lauches with no problems. Via ICA Outlook does not launch at all. No error msg nothing.


Any advice on how to troubleshoot?

If this is on Windows 2003 SP1, go to the Citrix website and do a search. There is a hotfix available for problems with Citrix on Windows 2003 SP1.

Another possibility is to disable DEP for Outlook. I know this is dumb, but I have personally seen both Outlook and IE fail in odd ways over Citrix where the problem was resolved by disabling DEP. *sigh*

I found the answer and it worked.

Remove these key's on the server:
HKLMSoftwareCitrixCtxHookAppInit_DLLSspeedscreeniexplore.exe
HKLMSoftwareCitrixCtxHookAppInit_DLLSspeedscreenoutlook.exe
