Hi,
I'm currently using outlook 2002.
We have a software program that generates email and places them into the outbox. At that point Outlook substitutes the names, using name recognition.
The problem is, that if I address the email to john@myemail.com, and within outlook's contact list, I have John but with john@microsoft.com, then the name recognition changes my to: field to john@microsoft.com
I have tried the following in Outlook, but it has not helped.
1.On the Tools menu, click Options.
2.Click the Preferences tab, click E-Mail Options, and then click Advanced E-Mail Options.
3.Select or clear the Automatic name checking check box.
Thanks in advance for any help!
