I used Microsoft Outlook 2003 for years without problems.
But now - when i have started the program - and do nothing with it, after about 1 minute the programm fails and a message is produced that "Microsoft Outlook has discovered a problem" and I am requested to report this to Microsoft.

I found out that - even when I have stopped the program in s normal way - before that dammned message comes up - the programm still resides in memory shown by the task-manager
- and later the message comes again and again as long as I do not kill the process via task-manager.

Virus not detectable has been checked.
New installation of Outlook does not change the problem.

Has anyone out there an explanation?

My Firewall is Kaspersky Internet Sec Suite.
Thanks to all of you in advance

Dunno, have you tried Office Update? If so, did the problem start after a particular update? If that's the case, perhaps you can uninstall the one update that caused the issue - or if did several updates, try uninstalling 1 at a time.

Another possibility: do you have any add-ins for Outlook? Possibly from an Antivirus program, or could be any of a long list of others as well..
