Outlook sending 1 of 10000 messages....... its lying

I am using SBS 2003 and outlook 2003 on randomn occassions outlook shows its sending 1 of 10000 messages - its lying of course as i can see 1 message pass through the in box or another number is 1 of 1611..... what on earth is going on can anyone help?

Are you sure that you have disabled the SMTP Relay functionality of your exchange Server. IF not then you may find that mails are being sent by you on behalf of spammers...

Have you looked at your IP address on declude.com or ordb.org? Good sites to check for relays
