Outlook Resets POP3 account settings

Every so often I have noticed that outlook will change my POP3 account settings. It changes POP3 server to localhost and changes the user name to username/pop3servername. I was wondering there is anyway to stop it from doing this, I have fully up to date Office 2003 running on XP pro.
Any help appriciated

you are probably using some anti-virus that does that.

Trendmicro PCCIllin is one of them, others do the same.

Have got Trend Micro Office Scan, any way round it as Office Scan is top class AV and Spyware scanner

It should still work like that.

But I normally disable Email scanning, and just rely on the normal real-time scan monitor that will prevent me from opening any file with virus.

Thanks for the support. It is completly random when it does it and has no pattern at all. I guess its one of the things i will have to live with. I have to remember curiosity killed the cat.
