I have a macro embedded into Outlook 2000. It gets triggered when a user exit Outlook and that works fine. However if a user shuts down Windows, without closing Outlook first, Outlook shuts down without running the macro. Is there a work around for this?
You could always (using API calls) detect the shutdown, stop it, run your macro and then re-issue the shutdown command. Seems like incredible overkill to me though!.
Seriously though, is there no other way/event you can code your macro in to avoid this happening? It's always easier to change your own stuff than inherant windows behaviour

Ah, that does kind of limit your options in this scenario unfortunately
