When I set a calendar appointment for a group of people the group would like a reminder to occur to each member 15 minutes prior to meeting. Is this possible and if so how?

When you create the appointment you can click on "Invite Attendees" and add the persons. It treats the appointment like a meeting request so it add the appointment to everyone's calendar.

But just adding an appointment to a group or individual calendar will not send a reminder to other users calendars. joegz

Is there no way then to have an automatic broadcast without setting a reminder for one person to then send an email out?

Well here is a way it may be agreeable to you. You can send an e-mail message, I guess at the time the appointmen is created, but before you click on the SEND button you click on VIEW - OPTIONS and then set the field DO NOT DELIVER BEFORE with the desired date and time you want the message sent. Then click on SEND. The message sits in the Exchagne server queue and is not delivered until the set time. So in a way it acts like a reminder.

The only drawback I can see is that if the appointment time changes you can't recall the message in the Exchange queue. joegz
