Outlook putting an italic / on all emails.

When this user goes into to start a new email a / (in italics) automatically appears on his email. He goes up to the toolbar and turns off the italics button but when he goes to open a new email it comes back again.
Any ideas?

Try going to Tools - Options - Mail Format - Fonts. Under "When composing a new message:" select "Choose Font" and see if it is turned on there. Then at the bottom select "Always use my fonts".

It worked the first time when we reset it and then he rebooted and it's back again? I am confused...
