Outlook / Outlook Express Through Proxy Server 2.0

We want to access the school's email using Outlook / Outlook Express through Proxy Server 2.0 rather than using web mail. Unfortunately I get the 'server not found' error. I have had a 'play' with Outlook and Proxy settings but no luck. Can anyone make any suggestions?

Hi,

In Proxy Server 2.0, try giving permissions on Socks service to that particular machine name or user name or ip address which ever is applicable there.

I had done the same thing to my network and its working fine.
