Outlook, outlook express: contacts and addresses 1

Ok - I'm confused.

On my desktop (XP Home and Office 2000), I use Outlook2000 and my wife uses Outlook Express. What I want is for both programs to use (read, update, delete) the same set of names and addresses so that we share a common address book.

I know this is possible because it is how my laptop is configured.

Any clues?
