Outlook on all computers started to hang

We are using MS exchange server for e-mail and our outlook on all in-house machines started to hang for 15-20 seconds before outbound mail gets sent. It is probably happening on inbound too, but it is hard to see that. What could have happened to cause this?

You could try rebooting your server - sticky outbox is usually a problem with the Information Store service.

are all of the exchange services running once outlook has hung?
