Outlook notes disappear

Hi,

I believe i have archive off, and every so many days my notes disappear for good. Are they only avail temporary?


Or being archived and i don't know it?


BTW, i had archive on a while back and put a pass on the file and can't remember my pass, is the a way to get around it?

i use office 2k and actually need to understand archiving a bit better too. any useful link or prior posts is appreciated.

Firstly make sure Auto Archive is off for Notes, R.Click on Notes and go to Properties then go to the Auto Archive tab and make sure do not archive is selected.
I am not aware of notes only being available temporarily. Is it just notes that are disappearing?

I am not auto-archiving. not sure how my notes disappear every few days...

i just noticed under advanced tab , i had a filter and i removed it...

it's kewl now.. thnx
