Outlook never Ending

Hello,

We run Exchange 5.5 on a Windows 2000 Sp4 server.
We have Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 clients runnning on Windows XP.

For an unknown reason, some of outlook 2000 clients never terminate their session when the user click on "File\Exit and Logoff".

Does anyone had this issue?

Any idea to solve it?

I applied Citrix Hotfix Rollup Pack PSE400W2KR04. But issue still there.

Citrix? On Windows XP? Please clarify.

Also, anything in the event log?

Please discard my comment, it's on Windows xp in this case.

Nothing special in the event log.

A shot in the dark, but I remember that activating the journal capabilities in Outlook could cause a lot of things to take forever.

Not even sure if your version has it, but might be worth checking the options to see, and if it's enabled, see if disabling it makes any difference.

Issue has solved by applying the Microsoft Office hotfix patch
