We use HTML mail format for outgoing mail, and auto-signatures in Outlook 2000 and 2003.
Some users want their signature to appear when replying to email, which is fine, until they reply to a message sent in rich text. Their signature isn't added to rich text messages (for obvious reasons).
However, having replied to a rich text message, their signature also stops being added to new HTML messages, and Outlook gives an error "The signature xxxx could not be located. This signature may have been removed."
Looking in the mail format settings, the auto-signature is now blank, but can be re-set.
Has anyone found a way around this annoying behaviour?
