Outlook Hyperlink Problems

Hello,
I've just changed OS from NT to Win2k but still with office 97 software and currently on a network. The problem I have is that I can't open any hyperlinks on email sent to me from outside the company. I've tried holding down the control button, the shift button and even both together to open them but no joy.

Anyone with any ideas?

Are the emails being sent to you being sent as HTML or basic (plain) text? Maybe that's it?

It's a very weird situation!
The emails I get are all text - funny thing about it is that the notify email from tek-tips comes with a hyperlink and I clicked on that one and it worked!
It seems to be some emails and not others, even emails form home to work with hyperlinks on don't work either and there's nothing special about those!

I'm thinking there's something hidden in the emails (or hyperlinks) which perhaps needs to be switched off?

This is driving me nuts!
