whats not working .. You cannot open the program, or you get an error opening the program, or you cannot send receive email, or you cannot open your address book ..

this is error when i open outlook 2000, click ok then outlook starts and works..except i have no rules wizard and can't make a rule..

Whatever image you tried to post that I assume displays the error you are getting is not showing up for us. So we still don't know what error you are getting. Perhaps if you type the error message instead.

sorry
an extension failed to initialize. can't open file: c:\documents and settings\admin.\local settings\application data\microsof... the file may not exist, you may not have permission to open it, or it may be open in another program.. go to check permissions so on..
this dir has permissions only if ya share file.. this file isn't shared..

I suspect you have an add-in in Outlook that is trying to load when Outlook loads that is causing you a problem.

Try opening Outlook using the /safe switch and see if it will open. This allows Outlook to open without loading any add-ins. If it does open then check the add-in manager (TOOLS - OPTIONS - OTHER - ADVANCED OPTIONS) to see what ADD-INS are being called. You may find the culprit in there.
