We have 3 Mac on our network that use outlook 2001 and version 8.2 for Macs connecting to Exchange 5.5 by TCP/IP. Although they can send/recive emails ok, however the outlook craches with a 'Outlook has unexpectedly quit' error, it almost happened over ten times a day, i have tried to reinstall the outlook, rebuild the destop, or even reset the PRAM, but it won't help. Does anyone have an idea about this??

It's really appreciate that anybody can share any idea or experience with
me.

Jason

If you are using MacOS 9 or earlier, have you increased the memory available to the Outlook application?

Click the outlook program Icon once (when it is NOT running)
File Get Info Memory
Make the Prefered size larger, say 150% of the default

See if that helps, I often claim that all mac error messages mean it ran out of memory.

I notice that they support only MacOS 8.6 and later

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Yes, the problem could definitely be associated with memory. I recently tried to upgrade my memory and when I installed the new sticks, I constantly got bus, address and memory errors (this application has unexpectedly quit). When I returned to my original mem config. Everything was fine again. Correctly matching memory to system req. is critical! lol

First of all i would like to thanks for you guys comments, in the past of days, i've tried to increase the preferred memory size for Outlook and even rebuild the Exchange Preferences file, but it still remain the same problem. At this moment i really have no idea what can i do for them more!!!
