Hello,
Recently, we upgraded our server from NT4-EXCH 5.5 to 2000SBS. Now, with exchange 2000 in place, we have several users who have complained that outlook freezes on them at what seems to be a set interval (I haven't timed it yet). What happens is they are typing, and then they lose the cursor and mouse pointer, and when outlook resumes, everthing that they typed races across the screen to catch up.
I've tried turning off and changing the automatic send\receive function to see if that would help, as well as disabling the virus software. I've also had task manager open to see if any other processes were taking control momentarialy, to no avail. it's as if some background program is taking control for 30 seconds, and then releasing the pc.
All machines have Office xp with outlook 2002 and a combination of windows 2000 pro and windows xp pro, and are pulling pop mail from an ISP, so they have an exchange client and a pop client installed.
Thank you in advance.
