Outlook Express "Remember Password"

After reformatting my hard drive and reloading Outlook Express it forces me to type my password each time I log on and will not allow me to check the "Remember Password" box. What is the remedy?

Hi

I have the same problem for both Outlook Express and MS Money. I have followed the advice given by Microsoft but when I go to delete the key it isnt there. All that appears below the Protected Storage System Provider is *Local Machine*.

Any ideas??

Here's how I fixed my Outlook Express "Remember Password" problem. It was just a setting that I could not figure out. These are the steps I followed:

Open Outlook Express
Tools
Accounts
Mail tab
Properties
Server tab
Type in your password
Check the "Remeber Password" box
Click Apply
Click OK
