Hi.
When I put JPG as attachment for Outlook Express version 6 I also get the attachment automatically in the body section when I send the mail. Is there a way to avoid this without making zip-files ?
Please help.

This is something I could find no setting for..it is apparently in the core code either intentional or not.

As you know zipping it will stop this.

This is just a 'display' behavior. The file is not there twice, if that's your concern. You could prevent this display by changing the option to 'read all messages in plain text'.

Thank you Smah.
That solved my problem.
Someone returned mail to me with secret attachments.
After testing myself, I did not receive the attachment.
But it is stupid that the JPG is placed in the body when I read mail sendt to myself.
Thanks to you both for answering me.
