I'm running OE V6_00.290.2180 under XP. I have 2 accounts set up one for me and one for the wife. Mine is the default account. I keep getting my wife's mail, (which is infuriating because it's full of girly tittle-tattle from her mates) which I then have to forward to her.
This always happens if the mail happens to be received when I'm logged in as me, and I sometimes find her mail when I log in from scratch.
This is a new system, replacing one running Windows 98, also using OE V6. The accounts are set up in exactly the same way as on the old system, but I never had this problem on the old box.
Hope that's enough info. Any ideas please?

Make sure in the settings that you aren't downloading her messages.

Hope this helps...

Jay - could you be a bit more specific please. Are you talking about settings in Tools/Accounts, or Tools/options or ....where?

I'm sorry, I don't see a way to hook it up with 2 inboxes.

But, if you go to her account properties, you can unselect "Include this account when receiving mail..."

Regards,
Jay

We need some clarification of your set-up...

Are you both using the same Windows login with different OE identities? Do you and your wife have seperate e-mail addresses or are you sharing the same address?

I think this prob might have been solved by Jay's last posting. However, in answer to your questions -
We have the same Windows login and different OE identities
We have separate email addresses.
Thanks for your interest and feedback everyone.
Richard
