Outlook Express - BCC max number?

Is there a maximum number of emails you can put in the BCC box in Outlook Express? Can I add 2000 BCCs?

don't know about a limit on how many, but your or another isp may detect this as an email spam/DOS attack and kill it.

but, 2000 bcc?

We have these email addresses from site visitors who have signed up to receive emails from the client. We have been using the ISP's mailing list software but are not happy with it.

Using BCC in Outlook Express is one of the options I thought of trying.

I'm also testing with MailThem Pro(

http://www.kadmy.com).

I emailed support to see if there was a limit to the number of emails but haven't heard back yet. Their demo only allows 40.

The limit usually lies with your ISP, check there first. Most of them allow no more than somewhere between 50-200 per message.
But for a mailing list, OE is really not the way to go.
