Problem = When trying to add a signature to outlook 98 Outlook crashes saying outlook.exe has caused an error. The Mail format is set to plain text, although I have tried all settings even though ms say it will not work if word is editor etc.
Nothing showing in event viewer

Anybody any ideas?

have you tried to do it, when the user is a local administrator?

or maybe a new outlook profile?

Logged on as and me and it worked fine, checked permissions on the signature system folder and found that it had been tampered with, set permsissions back to how they should be and now works fine,

Thanks for your reply though
