an outlook account is continuosly receving duplicate email messages from two other accounts on the network. when outlook is closed it will not open unless i log off and then back on. once this is done i click send/receive and it waits to receive 1 of 28 messeages but never finishes the task. Any ideas out there would be apprecicated!

Make sure "Leave messages on the server" is not checked (unless it needs to be). Go to Tools->Services (in CW, in IO its Tools->Accounts) then select Properties for your Internet Email connection. Click the Advanced tab and check the Delivery subsection.

leave messages on the server" is not checked: the thing still will not send/receive succesfully..... I checked all of the server settings and they are ok. No one else on the network is having porblems.. I'm thinking of running office setup and restoring the existing install....What do you think?
This is usually caused by spam blocking the receipt of all the messages. Since the remove from server part doesn't happen until ALL emails waiting for delivery are delivered, you get the same messages over and over again.
Try using a spam removal tool such as MailWasher to clean out the messages on the server directly, then download as normal.
