Outlook attachment viewing

Is there a way to change the view of an attachment.. from icon form in the email itself to show up in detail below the subject line. using outlook not express.

This is dependant upon the format the sender used when sending it to you. Have the sender resend it in 'plain text' or 'html' format instead of RTF.
