A number of our users are complaining that they recieve appointment/meeting requests that have been addressed to other people

I quote "Each time someone sets up a meeting, I get asked to respond on behalf of other people for meetings and sometimes if I don't respond, the appointment doesn't get put in (and to be quite frank it's getting on my nerves)."

Any ideas on where to start ? The problem only happens with meetings, normal emails cause no problems whatsoever.

I hope exchange is the correct forum rather than office :)?

Deletgate Access would be my guess.

I have cases when people seemed to be inviting people .. even though the accounts had been deleted. It turned out that one of the Invitees had the deleted account as a Delegate to their account. (The delegate doesn't get deleted when the account is deleted).

Hope this helps.

Nope, nothing there

anybody got any other ideas ?

Thanks

Paul

Trail back through the threads Paul, a couple of weeks ago there were about 5 different threads all relating to this problem.

I had the same problem. When you set someone up as a delegate with access to your calendar etc, there is a check box that says "delegate receives copies of meeting related items sent to me"

If you go into Tools, options, delegates and pick a deleagte and their properties, you will see this check box under Calendar. Just uncheck it and the problem will go away...
