Hello!

I'm newbie and I'm trying to create an internal application for outlook that in case of recieve new mail, minimize all the applications and show an alert on the background, or simply shows an alert on the top.

Any ideas?

Access Tools--Options and on the Email tab, cehck the "Display a notification message" option. This will pop up a dialog box advising that there is new mail for the user.

QED.

Cheers,
Dave

Yes I know this option,

But I don't wanna do only an alert, I want to examine the emails, as a kind of spamkiller,but I'd like to maximize Outlook, I think I must use this constant (vbMaximizedFocus) but I don't know how. Concerning the alert I can use a msgBox.

Anyone?

Thank you Dave

but I'd like to maximize Outlook
Application.ActiveWindow.WindowState = olMaximized

Hope This Helps, PH.
