Outlook adds temp folder as attachment with reply

I have outlook 2002 on a XP Pro machine. When I reply to sender with an attachment Outlook adds an attachment that is the temp folder. I have look at all the settings and cannot find solution. I have run virus and span scans with nothing found. Please help me solve this problem

Please describe a bit more. When you reply is the attachment (and what kind of file is it?) you are sending one that you opened from a message? To be clear, is the attachment a file you opened FROM another message, or a file you opened from disk?

The message contained a pdf file that i opened and read and printed. The sender also uses a disclamer at the end of the mail. I reply to this sender and when the reply window comes up an attachment is added to the mail. This attachment contains a folder that is the temp folder in that local users folder.

could this have something to do with the disclaimer?
