We have a PC in out office running Windows 98, office 97 and outlook 98. There are 5 years of messgaes in the sent items folder and messages over 10 months old will not delete. When you click on one or multiple messages, it reports and error with the interface of outlook and says restart outlook. I have reinstalled outlook and run the inbox repair tool both of which have made no difference at all. If you click on a messgae dated from 3/1/02 or later, it is possible to delete these. Unfortunatley we want to keep these but delete everything over a year old. The auto-archive function doesn't work on them either. Does anyone have any idea whats wrong or can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance, Lee.
