I am having a problem with one user viewing new email messages received in a public folder. When a new message arrives in the folder, the message sometimes does not show up on his public folder for 2 or 3 hours after it arrives. Other users see it right away.
The public folder is used for tech support requests from outside the company. It is on an outsourced exchange 2010 server. We used cached mode to connect to the server.
I have tried deleting the OST file, deleting and recreating his mail profile in Outlook but it has not helped. This is an intermittent problem in that persons Outlook.
Does anyone know what could be wrong?
