I have an Access 2003 database that I recently converted to 2010 and the automated vba generated emails no longer work because of the above. I know there is a third party product you can buy to overcome this but does anyone know of a way to bypass the Outlook security in access vba 2010. Outlook says you have to be an administrator to grant access but our administrator cannot release this setting either. This is a huge step backwards for my customers who now have to manually send their emails.
