Outlook 2007 goes not responding when sending email

Outlook 2007 goes not responding when sending email. windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit office 2007 sp2 all updated but everytime i send an email it hangs as not responding for 5 min and then sends it.

Check your virus scanner settings. I've had issues in the past with the antivirus scanning outgoing email messages.

It doesn't look like it is scanning emails from the settings i can find. but it only seems to do this with a specific email address.

You're contradicting yourself there. Which one is it? Also, how are you sending your e-mai - POP3, Exchange?
