I have a user that creates an e-mail and then she saves it in the draft's folder.
When you open the e-mail back up, the sent date and time has been filled yet this is a draft message, which Outlook knows it hasn't sent yet. The dates and times look to be the date and time when the draft message was created.

I've randomly tested a number of users who are all set the same and there Outlook functions as expected, as does mine.

Any idea's?

Thanks
Kris

Outlook 2007 does this with drafts, not sure why Microsoft made it that way.
It just uses the date the draft was created.
When you send the email, it will update to when the email was sent.

All other PC's have the same installation, so why don't any others do the same?

Thanks

Thanks. Unfortunately I'm not a member of the website that possible solution is on.

Thanks anyway.

You don't need to be. Ever. Google keeps a cache of the site's pages, so you can acces the solution there. Stick

"Printing Drafts in Outlook 2007 - Showing Date sent"

(which is the article in question) into Google. In the Experts Exchange hit (shuold be top) select Cached link.

I've seen that article before.

My issue is that so far, only one user looks to have the issue. I appreciate that if it is something in Office 2007 then fine but not in Office 2007 and only on certain PC's. That doesn't make sense. All have the same SP's, updates, installed programs and are the same spec!

I can see this being one of those things that get on one's nerves!!!

Thank again.

Got it!

When Exchange Cached Mode is on it doesn't do it. When Exchange Cached Mode is off it does it!
