I've got a BCM 400 v.4.0.2.03a and Voicemail patch BCM.R400.159-VOICEMAIL.

I can't get the CallPilot Unified Messaging to work on a Windows XP machine with Microsoft Office 2007. It appears to install correctly (version 4.04.04.37), but either makes Outlook crash or it doesn't show that it has been installed.

Anybody seen this and know of a solution?

Thanks,

Do you also have LAN CTE installed, or do you have Personal Call Manager loaded? I have had this same issue on the same version if the user had LAN CTE running. I have no issue with just Unified Messaging installed.

I'm trying to install CallPilot Unified Messaging only. Not the Personal Call Manager.

Thanks,

RW

Were you able to solve this problem with Outlook crashing? I am experiencing the same issue.

Nope - still having the same problem.

I couldn't find Business Contact Manager to be installed with my Outlook 2007. I couldn't find the registry entry the article specified, but also get the same issues with CallPilot and Outlook 2007.

I believe a few of us have been talking about a similar issue on the following thread too

You might want to see if you have Service Pack 1 installed, i still haven't had time to try either the Business Contact Manager or the SP1 removal and reinstall but i am pretty sure that it is SP1 that is causing problems on the install of CallPilot

Let me know if you have any success.

Unified Messaging it not compatible with 2007. My workaround... Build an IMAP acocunt in your outlook and install the unified messaging and not allow it to update your outlook... the call pilot player will install, and the IMAP acocunt should pull your mailbox information... it works for me, but its slower then the actual Unifed Messaging program.
