Afternoon Folk ...

I am using Outlook 2003 SP2. A am then using Word 2003 to edit my email messages and read Rich Text messages.

Was working great until I fat-fingered an email and somehow turned on the function to show editing characters.

So now, every time I start a new email, the email opens with the Paragraph (backwards upper case P looking thing) throughout the email.

Where and how do I turn this off and clear it. Do I set this option in Word or in Outlook that is using Word?

Thanks ALL!

J

Thanks

In a new message in outlook, go to Tools->Options.
Turn off the checkmarks under the "Formatting Marks" section on the View tab.
