Outlook 2003 - Use Contacts in Address Fields?

Hi
In previous versions of Outlook I have been able to enter a name in the To: (etc) field of a message and it would search the address book and also the contacts. I cannot find how to get Outlook 2003 to behave like this. It ignores my Contact list and I cannot find how to add it in.

Any ideas?

While Googleing for an answer to the same problem, I came upon this helpful newsgroup thread which I think will fix me up. (haven't tried it yet, but looks promising enough to pass along.)
