Everytime I start outlook, it only shows me the personal folders. We operate in an exchange server environment.
If i want to look at public folders, i have to press CTRL+6 everytime, or go to folders list.
Is there any way i can make the public folders appear in the list everytime?

not sure if it same on outlook 2003 but on on 2002 all you have to do is right click in the tool bar were all your other shortcuts are (inbox, outbox, Calander etc) select the "outlook bar shortcut" option scroll to the public folders folder and hit ok. Then it should show up in your toolbar.

Have you tried the "Navigation pane options", then move the folder list to the top of that list?

Public folders do NOT appear in this option.

At the very bottom left of the screen under the list of folders there is a row of icons for mail, notes, tasks etc. One of then is for "folder list". If you click on this, it shows your full folder list including archives and public folders.

Pritska, did you ever find out an answer? I'm having the same problem. Maybe wait til service pack 10? haha

Mia03's suggestion is the closest I've found out! A brown envelope thing that brings up the folder list

You can add any preferred folders to the top left box too, or just use the shortcuts you create yourself.
