We have an existing distribution list in exchange 2000 and the owner cannot add or delete members from it. As owner she should have those rights but all that I've been able to find so far about the issue is that she might be missing a registry file. She has XP/outlook 2003. Any thoughts?

outlook 2003 - owner of distribution list cant add or delete members

If this is a distrbution list in AD you might want to check the security there and make sure the user can modify the list. In this case the "owner" is more informational that security. If the list was created in a Public folder check the secutiry there. At least that is my quick thoughts.

Found the problem. Since our Exchange server is a 2000 server I was looking around in AD on there but as a last ditch effort I poked around in AD on our 2003 file server and oddly enough there was a box there to check which gave her the needed permissions. That box was not available in 2000.
