Outlook 2003 Maximum email addresses in "TO" field?

does anyone know what the email address limit is for Outlook 2003 “BCC” field? “CC” field? “TO” Field?

I don't know - how many do you intend to put there? As long as you're not doing this to send Spam, I'd suggest that you look into distribution lists.

no spam here. just trying to send regular (and requested) emails to the members of our tennis club. I started to use an email program called “WorldCast”... but MSN, AOL and others don’t like the “Mass Mailing Software”. It seems that I have to send my communications (400 +/-) using Outlook. I have found a limit in the BCC field because it kicks back a list telling me that recipients did not receive the message. I am guessing that the field max is around 150 +/- but was hoping someone already knew the answer. Setting up a distribution list is wayyyy too much work (I will have to cut-n-paste each of the 400 records into a Outlook record)... unless Outlook has a simple way of taking 400+/- CSV addresses and merging them into a distribution list.

Yes. Open Outlook and check out File, Import, Import From Another Program or File and then select Comma Separated Values...

Alternatively, open the CSV file in Excel and create an Address database in Excel. In Excel you can then delete any information that you don't want to import - and import just the names and email addresses. The import them into Outlook. Create a Distribution list.
