How do I SIMPLIFY my Outlook 2003 interface? When I have the client open on the mail area, I have these frames:

favorite mail folders
all mail folders
list of other modules (ie calender, journal)
inbox with little subfolders marked "yesterday" etc.
preview of selected message

It would be nice just to see a list of email messages and a list of other modules. Dealing with five frames simultaneously gives me a headache.

Click on View
1. to elimate grouping in folders, click Arrange by and uncheck show in groups
2. Click reading panel and click on the view you would like. I think in your case, choose Off
3. On the bottom on the folder list there is a button ">>" and you can click 'show fewer button' and you can minimize the clutter there
4. Ctrl + 6 should get rid of your fav mail folders
I guess thats more or less it.

Great! I was able to make the interface much simpler. Do you know how to suppress the preview window in the mail module?
