Hi everyone.

I have a problem with a specific account that POP and SMTP mail through. The funny thing is that i know that the account works because i have the exact same settings in Outlook Express on my work workstation (login / password / mail server) and it works fine there!

However at home, on windows XP SP2 with Outlook 2003 SP2 the messages for this particular account just go into the outbox and just sit there. A send / receive just makes them italicized and it says sending 1 of 3 but the never go. Even messages with other accounts go, but these 3 just sit there. I can delete them no problem, but i have no idea why they dont send.

Anyone have suggestions as to how to fix this?

Thanks!

Might I suggest making sure the addresses are on your approved sender or recipent list, and not blocked on your system. Make sure there are no extraneous independent firewalls in active status as this condition may prevent email from being sent.

I would also check to see if you have caching on. In our corporate environment, setting the "use cached Exchange mode" on would have things stuck in outbox.
