Hi there,

So, Outlook 2003 Rules & Alerts... You would have thought this would be easy...

I have a mailbox that when a mail is recieved should auto reply. I have create a rule that sends a server based auto reply message to new messages... easy, but I only want it to send to new mails received, not to replies of the original message...

Does that make sense?

Thanks

ACF

Can you create an exception to not send the auto-reply if the subject starte with "RE:" or "FW:

This brings up a question I have had. I have set up rules that stated when i get an email with "Database Change Request" it would send and auto reply "We have received your..." but what happens is that once a person sends one if they send another on from the same address it will not send them an auto reply, is there a way to set this up?
