I am in the process of upgrading computers in a local business. The old machines were running Win98 Rel.2 and outlook express 5. The new machines have WinXP Pro and Outlook 2002. After importing all old mail and the address book into outlook, one machine is having a problem. When the user tries to type the name of one of the address book entries (now residing in the contacts folder)into the "TO:" field, she types the first two letters and then upon typing the third, the "TO:" field clears. The name is Cesar, so she types c, then e, which appear normally, then the field clears on the s stroke. It only has happened with one entry so far, and any other letter combination seems to work fine. I have installed all updates to WinXP and officeXP sp3, virus scan turns up nothing (norton internet security is installed). This is a fresh install of windows on a new computer, there are 7 other identical computers in the office, this is the only one displaying this problem. This one has me baffled... any ideas??
