One user in our Exchange 2000 network has all new, unread mail messages in the Outlook 2002 inbox which automatically appear as read (un-bold) 15 minutes after being delivered to the in-box. At the time of delivery to the Inbox, duplicate messages are delivered to the Deleted Items folder. The messages in the deleted items folder seem to stay "unread" (bold) unless the user opens the message from the Deleted Item Folder.

Both the In-Box and Deleted Items Folder reside on the Exchange 2K Server.

Have any other users got access/permissions to this persons email account?

Thanks. The Detect and Repair partially worked. The messages stayed "unread" for 25 minutes rather than 15 minutes. And the Duplicate messages did not appear in the Deleted folder.

Yes, someone has permission to see the user's mailbox, but has not accessed the account. In fact the supervisors for all users have permission to view their subordinants' mailboxes. No one else seems to be having the problem.

Any other ideas?
