Outlook 2002 Mail Merge Problem - Missing Hyperlinks

I am trying to merge a databse and an email i wish to use as a monthly newsletter. I have setup the newsletter and it works perfectly when i send it directly to me.

When i merge the email with a database (any number of records) and then send it, all my hyperlinks in the email disappear! I want to personalise the emails, but not compromise the links!

I am using MS Outlook 2000, and using Word as my e-mail editor to enable the mail merge facility.

Has anyone else had this issue? How do i get around it?

Are you running Windows XP by any chance?

I have a similar problem, my problem is detailed in the thread Outlook 2000 vs Windows XP.

Basically, when a use a template with an HTML body format, the bofy does not appear once I save the message or try to send it for that matter.
