Outlook 2002 Locks Up

Hello-

I have been having this problem for quite some time, and I can't seem to get it sorted out. I am running MS Windows XP Pro, and I have Office XP Pro installed. When I launch Outlook, I can get / send e-mail, but if I leave the application open for an extended period of time, it locks up. When I go to the task manager, it states that Outlook is not responding, and I have to end task on it.

Any thoughts?

I am having similar problems with the same system and software.
Mine locks up when I try to attach any file or read an email with a file attachment, even those I hade read successfully before. It occasioanly just locks for the sake of it.
I think it started locking up after one of windows many updates. Any clues on what to do - I have tried the error fixing under windows Xp to no avail.
