Hi

Does anybody know of a way to enable Outlook 2000 to show the Size Column on all mail folders by default .... currently my users have to use Field Choose on each and every folder they create.

Is there a registry setting that I can pass out using a Group Policy ?

Cheers

Andrew

Sorry to be so late with an answer.

I like the size column too. And I'm IMO installation, but I think it'll work anyway.

Here's the steps I took that worked:

Start-Run and type outlook.exe /cleanviews
Hit Enter
(this wipes all previous view settings)

Start-Run and type outlook.exe /nopreview
Hit Enter
(this turns off the preview pane altogether, if desired)

Then, click on Inbox.
View-Current View-Define Views.
Choose NEW.
Type their name, choose All folders and hit Ok.
Add the size column.
Hit Apply.

Also a shortcut: Right-click on other column headings to pull up the field chooser more quickly.

I was having a problem with duplicate headers in Outlook and running the cleanview command worked wonders.

Thank you for the info.
