I have a user on a WinNT 4.0 SP6a system using Outlook 2000 SP1a, who when receiving HTML email, can see the graphics and hot links, but cannot see the text on the screen.

Other users signoing onto the machine can see everything fine. Is there a setting in Outlook or the registry that controls this action? If not, can someone point me in the right direction to solve this problem?

Sure, they've probably got their mail formatted text as white font...

But if you can't get rid of it, I'd just close Outlook and:

Start-Run:

outlook.exe /regserver

That should do it.

In trying Anne's suggestion, when I run the command, I am getting a command line argument not valid error.

The font's are all set to automatic color, so that does not seem to be the problem.

ok...there's a space before the slash... /

AND, you may need to include the path to outlook.exe...like this maybe:

c:\program files\.....whatever....\outlook.exe /regserver

or you may need an admin to run it. Anne Troy
