I've created some distribution lists beceause I'm sending al lot of the same mails to different contacts.
but with some lists I get the message

No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient

and then all the names of the contacts from a distribution list.

A colleage told me that this is because there are 1 ore more faulty email adresses in the distribution list and that the mail is send to everyone except the ones with the wrong adresses in spite of alle the names of the list mentionned in the mail.

Can someone confirme this ? or did nobody get the mail until these fautlty adresses are solved ?

If you are using Outlook, when you send your message :go to Options and check in the Voting and Tracking Options :Request a delivery receipt. This will tell you who the mail has been delivered to and maybe put you on track.
Cheers

yes i know but what i really want to know is
if one of the adresses is false does the other persones mentionned in the list still receive the mail?

Absolutly, it will send it to everyone else on the list and just error out on the ones that are wrong. It should also send you a message so that you know which ones are wrong and you could remove them.
