In outlook 2000, I have a problem with 1 machine that sends email to a particular recipient (colin). I can sent mail to the colin and it appears in the in box. The problem user can send mail to me and I get it in my inbox. If the problem user send mail to colin it shows up as being collected, I.E. downloading message 1 of 1 for colin but does not appear in the inbox. Instead if u choose the drop down list in from the inbox button above the recieved messages window, the calender folder shows a number of unread messages in blue with brackets, like it would if it were the inbox. Can anybody tell me how to stop this happening as it confused me!??

Thanks

Allan

Hi Allen,

Sounds like there may have been a rule setup to put the email from problem user in to the calendar folder. What you will want to do is check in Tools Rules wizard. Look for the problem users name in the list of rules. Then click modify after highlighting it. This will show you any rules setup for this name. The rule I think might be there is to send the email to folder and someone put in calendar as location. You can remove or change it here. Hope this helps.
